Givi Alloy Monokey Plate (SRA3105) installed onto Khaki DL1000ABS

Another Givi accessory that came with the haul was the Givi Alloy Monokey Plate (SRA3105).

Had the Trekker 52litre box on the 650 and couldn’t do without a topbox. On the 650 we also installed the alloy plate that Givi made and it was fantastic. A nice neat fit that followed the lines of the bike and didn’t detract from the bikes styling.

It looks like Givi have done it again with the new alloy plate for the DL1000ABS. This is a specific made to bike unit that has been designed for the new 1000 in mind. It installs over the top of the existing factory rack, no need to remove the OEM rack. In fact it actually enhances the rack by adding auxiliary  supports to strengthen and support the loaded topbox.

Install was easy, all parts were supplied and it ended up looking fantastic. This racks adds a unique style and a tough look even when there is no topbox fitted. A well worthwhile addition to any V-Strom 1000ABS.

Very easy to install, for more information and many more pics about the plate go here:
