VIDEO: Test report of the V-Strom 650XT from Peter

From our V-Strom friend Peter-

A little test report of the V-Strom 650XT.  The XT drives as good as the ‘old one’.  The engine is the same. There are some small changes:  Of course the spoked wheels, the saddle and the fuel tank.

DSC_0054 The spoked wheels speak for them self. The saddle is a little bit smaller on the front.  Also the fuel tank is smaller.

The saddle is NOT adjustable.  Some motor magazines say it is adjustable.  When you stand on the bike, you’s standing a little bit closer against it.   And more to the front.

The motor controlled more easier. May be its because of the spoked wheels. It drives good, handle perfect and also looks awesome  by the spoked wheels.

Thanks again for the great info Peter  🙂

It is great to see fellow V-Strom enthusiasts sharing news and views on the new 650XT and your opinion helps to indicate how this bike is a big change for the Suzuki V-Strom range. Now that Suzuki have  a completely updated 1000 and now this big change to the 650, this allows these great bikes to be even more Adventure compatible.
