AltRider Universal Header Guard
Had quite a few enquiries and questions about the extra protection that we decided to add to the exhaust headers. As most images have indicated, the Givi RP3105 Bash plate sits very close into the engine and exhaust and due to this the exhaust had to pass through the plate to provide a great fit.
This leaves part of the exhaust exposed and that is why we decided to add some extra protection.

Most followers and fans of this blog have wanted to see how the exhaust header guard fitted so here are some more detailed pics of the Altrider Universal Header Guard without the bash plate on.
Rather than reply to everyone direct, I decided to put a post here so other can see.
As you can see, it is just a matter of a couple of hose clamps and bending the Exhaust Guard into place.
Pretty easy to do and will help provide some extra protection to the gap left in the Givi Bash Plate.
This will help protect from sticks and debris thrown up from the road or the bike in front giving the rider a bit more piece of mind when taking the V-Stroms off road.
